Today marked a special day for OXT because she won the beginner solo in Swindon Music Festival. We are so proud of her.

DIY 3D music notes ( sew from felt)
OXT is gifted with perfect pitch. Her speed of picking up a song by hearing is much more faster than reading from the music sheets. Sometimes she can play a song by just listen to the CD for few times. In order to help her on sight reading, I decided to DIY a music learning kit for her.
Today I let her learn the name of the basic notes first while I still working hard to complete this DIY Challenge.

OXT has been learning this piece of song for almost 2 months now. She will be playing this song for the coming Swindon Music Festival on 25/3/2014. She is participating at the beginner solo category.

I bought this set of colour cloth peg from hobby craft for OXT to practice her fine motor skill.

Today, OXT is learn about counting with tally marks. I bought the colour sticks from craft shop and DIY a set of control cards to use along.
